Skify Community Guidelines

Version 1.0 · Publication date: 26 October 2026

This English version is a convenience translation. The Hebrew version is the binding version.

Skify exists to connect people who love to ski and ride. These guidelines are part of the Terms of Use, and they apply everywhere in the service: profiles, requests, chats and communities.

1. Do ✓

  • Be yourself: a real name, age and photo, and your own.
  • Describe your skiing level honestly — the whole group’s safety depends on it.
  • Respect decisions: a group creator may accept or decline a request, and “no” is an answer.
  • Keep the conversation respectful, even when you disagree.
  • Ask permission before posting a photo or details of someone else.
  • Report anything that seems wrong to you.

2. Don’t ✗

  • Harassment, threats, bullying or humiliation.
  • Sexual content, nudity, or unsolicited advances and sexual messages. Skify is not a dating app.
  • Hate, racism or discrimination.
  • Any content that harms minors. We will report such content to the authorities.
  • Impersonation, false details or more than one account.
  • Spam, advertising and selling.
  • Requests for money, scams and “investment opportunities”.
  • Posting other people’s personal details (address, phone number, photos) without their consent.
  • Illegal content, or content that infringes other people’s rights.

3. Staying safe when you meet

  • Skify does not check identity, background or skiing level. What a profile says is what the user provided.
  • Hold the first meeting in a busy public place, such as the lift base or a café at the resort.
  • Tell someone close to you whom you are meeting, where and when.
  • Keep chatting in the app until you know each other, and don’t share your address, documents or payment details too early.
  • Don’t send money to people you don’t know.
  • Ski within your own ability, not what someone else said they can do. Check the forecast, avalanche warnings and the resort’s instructions.
  • Make sure you have suitable travel and ski insurance.
  • If something feels wrong — it’s fine to back out and leave, at any point.
  • In an emergency: 112 in Europe, or the resort’s rescue services. Skify is not an emergency service.

4. Reporting and blocking

  • You can report a chat message from within the app.
  • You can report a profile, a post or a comment from within the app.
  • You can block a user who bothers you from within the app.
  • You can always write to us: support@skify.app.
  • You can also report something that happened at a meeting that started on Skify. We will act on what is within our control — content and accounts in the service. If a crime was committed, go to the police.

5. What happens when the guidelines are broken

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for users who abuse others. Depending on the severity, Skify may remove content, issue a warning, suspend an account or delete it, as set out in section 8 of the Terms of Use.
